Privacy Policy & KVKK Notice
We take the security of your personal data seriously. This notice explains what data we process, why, with whom we share it, and your rights.
1. Data Controller
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by the following parties: • TÜRKİYE DATA CONTROLLER: Sindibad Turizm Ticaret A.Ş. 2. Data Collected
During the booking and service process we process the following: • First and last name • Email address • Phone number • Flight number and airline • Transfer route and pick-up/drop-off address • The full names of ALL passengers participating in the transfer, as required by Turkish legislation • Number of passengers and optional special requests (e.g. child seat) • Payment information: Card details are collected directly by Stripe on PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure; neither Transfelo, the seller nor the service provider sees or stores your full card number.
3. Processing Purposes and Legal Bases
Your data is processed for the following purposes: • Creating, managing and performing the transfer booking (establishment and performance of the contract — KVKK Art. 5/2-c) • Operational briefing and coordination with the driver/supplier (performance of contract) • Payment collection and, where necessary, refund processing (performance of contract) • Sending confirmation and notification emails (performance of contract) • Fulfilling legal obligations, including retaining all passenger information as required by Turkish legislation (legal obligation — KVKK Art. 5/2-ç) • Customer service, request and complaint management (legitimate interest — KVKK Art. 5/2-f)
4. Transfer of Personal Data
Limited to the performance of the service and the purposes above, your data may be shared with: • Driver / transfer supplier (fleet) — the passenger and meeting details required to fulfil the booking • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant) • Resend, Inc. — sending transactional (confirmation/notification) emails • RATE EXTRA TOURISM L.L.C (Dubai, UAE) — cross-border transfer in the context of payment collection and refunds Cross-border transfers are carried out in accordance with the KVKK provisions on transfers and the conditions of your explicit consent / performance of the contract. Your data is not sold or rented to any third party outside these purposes.
5. Retention Periods
Booking and passenger data is retained for a reasonable period after the completed transfer, taking into account applicable legislation and statutory limitation periods for potential disputes. Accounting and invoice data is kept for the statutory retention period of 10 years. Data whose retention period has expired is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your Rights under KVKK (Art. 11)
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to: • Learn whether your personal data is processed • Request information if it has been processed • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly • Know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data • Request deletion/destruction under the conditions set out in the KVKK • Request that correction/deletion be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred • Object to a result against you produced solely by automated analysis • Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing You may submit your requests to hello@transfelo.com. You also retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
