1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (including localStorage) placed in your browser when you visit transfelo.com (the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by RATE EXTRA TOURISM L.L.C (Commercial Licence No: 1253634, Dubai, UAE); the transfer service is fulfilled in Türkiye by our partner Sindibad Turizm Ticaret A.Ş. (Safaryar Travel brand, TÜRSAB Licence No: 10028). Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. We use them to make the site work, remember your preferences and keep your booking session going.
2. Cookies We Set Ourselves
Cookies and records set directly by the Platform: • SESSION AND CONSENT COOKIES — Required for the core operation of the site and to remember your cookie choices. The booking flow does not work without them. • AFFILIATE COOKIE ("aff") — If you started your booking through a partner's search widget, a short-lived "aff" cookie is set so the sale is attributed to the right partner. It contains only the partner identifier, no personal data. • MANAGE-BOOKING COOKIES — After you verify your identity on the Manage Booking page, authentication cookies keep your session securely signed in. • CURRENCY PREFERENCE — The currency you select (EUR, USD, TRY etc.) is stored so it is remembered on future visits. None of these records are sold or rented to third parties for advertising.
3. Third-Party Cookies and Services
The following services may set their own cookies or use similar technologies: • STRIPE — Sets cookies on the payment page for fraud prevention and secure payment processing. See stripe.com/cookies-policy for details. • VERCEL ANALYTICS — Collects page-view statistics in anonymised form WITHOUT using cookies. • AHREFS ANALYTICS — A privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool that measures site traffic only at an aggregate level. • GOOGLE ADS (gtag) — For conversion measurement of our advertising campaigns, Google may set cookies depending on your consent state. See policies.google.com/technologies/cookies for details. • TRAVELDISTRO — The infrastructure provider used for address autocomplete and transfer pricing; these requests are technically necessary and involve no marketing cookies. Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policy of the respective provider.
4. Cookie Lifetimes
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies (consent preference, currency, affiliate cookie) are kept from a few days up to a maximum of 12 months depending on their type, and expire automatically afterwards. Manage-booking authentication cookies are short-lived and become invalid when you sign out or when they expire.
5. Managing and Deleting Cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings: • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies • Safari: Preferences → Privacy • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions If you block strictly necessary cookies, core functions such as the booking flow and Manage Booking may stop working. Declining analytics and advertising cookies does not affect your use of the site.
