From the arrivals hall onto the D400 east
The run to Belek is one of the simplest from Antalya Airport: the car joins the D400 highway almost immediately, heads east past Aksu, and turns off toward Kadriye and the Belek resort strip. In normal conditions plan on 30 to 40 minutes door to door. The only regular slow point is the Aksu junction area on summer transfer days — Saturdays and Sundays in July and August, when charter waves land close together — which can add ten minutes or so. There are no mountain sections and no city-centre traffic on this corridor, so the band holds up well even in high season.
What arriving in Belek actually looks like
Belek is Turkey's golf capital and its most concentrated all-inclusive belt. The resorts line the beach in a long row through Kadriye, central Belek around İskele and on toward Boğazkent, most of them set in pine woodland with their own stretches of sand. More than a dozen championship golf courses sit directly behind the hotel zone, which is why golf bags are a routine sight in arrivals here. The Land of Legends theme park at Kadriye is the other big landmark on the way in. Most guests stay inside their resort, so the transfer is usually the one road journey of the whole holiday — worth getting right.
Shuttle, bus or private car for a Belek holiday?
There is no rail link toward Belek — the AntRay tram serves the airport but runs into Antalya city, the opposite direction. Public buses toward Serik and Manavgat use the D400 and can drop you on the main road, but resort entrances are a further taxi or long walk away, which is awkward with suitcases. Shared shuttle vans exist on this corridor; they are cheaper per seat but wait at the airport until enough passengers gather and then call at several resorts in turn, so a 35-minute drive can stretch well past an hour. For a family landing after a flight, a private car that leaves when you do is usually worth the difference. Airport taxis run on the meter, so the final amount depends on the route and traffic rather than being fixed up front.
Booking details that matter on this route
Check which Antalya Airport terminal your airline uses before booking — the airport has more than one, and your driver will be waiting at the right arrivals exit if the flight number is on the reservation. Golfers should mention club bags when choosing a vehicle so a larger boot is assigned. If you need a child seat for the resort run, request it at booking and it will be fitted before pickup. For the return, resorts in Belek are close enough that a pickup around three hours before a European departure is normally comfortable; on summer Saturdays a little earlier is wise, both for the D400 and for check-in queues.
